MTC Group is an engineering and strategic asset development entity. It consists of six affiliate companies across sectors.

MTC Engineering

MTC Engineering Consultancy

MTC Engineering Consultancy (MTCEC) specializes in multi-discipline design engineering for naval architecture, marine, process, mechanical, electrical & instrumentation, civil and structural. It started from marine offshore works such as vessels, barges, offshore structures and floaters and now has expanded its services to onshore work including civil & structural such as docks, wave breakers, petrol stations, mosques, and housing developments.

MTC Energy

MTC Energy is a newly-developed entity as MTC Group progresses closer to becoming a hydrocarbon operator. The company will be used to explore, operate, revitalize and produce oil and gas assets with a particular focus on late life and marginal fields as well as suitable sustainable solutions. MTC Energy vows to be in accordance with strict international standards for current sustainability practices by having a keen eye for innovation of traditional oil and gas methodologies.

MTC Defence

MTC Defence (MTCD) focuses on the design and development of innovative defense products and technologies. MTCD provides various types of locally-designed ship platform solutions to match the niche requirements of the Royal Malaysian Navy and Malaysian Maritime Agency. In addition, MTCD offers procurement and technical support services for the Malaysian Armed Forces, such as Marine Repair Overhaul (MRO), naval architecture and marine engineering. MTCD also works closely with academic institutions for the R&D of newer defence and national interest technologies.

MTC OREC

MTC OREC (MTCO), which stands for 'Optimal Renewable Energy Collaboration', focuses on development of various energy systems. MTCO offers strategic solutions for sustainable energy needs to utilise client's own energy-generating potentials for internal consumption/ selling to grid while reducing dependence on conventional fuels. The company has experience in providing full-suite services ranging from design and engineering right to operation and maintenance of RE systems based on sources such as biogas, wave, wind and mini hydro.

MTC Marine Offshore Solutions

MTC Marine Offshore Solutions (MTCMOS) is an O&M support entity that operates in the Malaysian offshore, MTCMOS specializes in marine and offshore facilities with a determined outlook for strict quality and safety policies. We also provide a one-stop comprehensive range of services that cater to different activities such as project management offshore works, marine and offshore terminals, floating facility operations and maintenance services.

MTC Engineering

MTC Engineering (MTCE) was incorporated in Malaysia in 2009 to provide services in FPSO leasing, field production operation, and turnkey development for mature and marginal fields. Being a lean operator specializing in cost-efficient, innovative and proactive solutions, we are committed to deliver fully integrated business solutions to our clients. MTC first floater Nautica Muar was launched in 2012 an initiated the birth of MTCE's registered trademark 'The Humming Bird Offshore Solutions' designed for multi redeployment FPSO. The latest relocatable FPSO MTC Ledang was in 2017. It has proven to be a successful fast-tracked conversion and economical solutions for stranded and late-life fields. MTCE is registered with Petronas, and also with CIDB as a G7 Bumiputera Status contractor (B04, CE21) successfully SCORE Rating from SME Corp Malaysia with 4 Star and listed as a High Performing Bumiputera Company (TeraS) from TERAJU (a strategic unit in the Prime Minister's Department of Malaysia).
