MTC Orec Sdn Bhd (MTCO) has solidified its position as a key player in Malaysia's renewable energy sector by signing a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with VentureTECH Sdn Bhd (VentureTECH). This MoA was formalized during the launching of “Bumiputera Economic Transformation Plan 2035 (PuTERA35)” on Monday, August 19, 2024, witnessed by prominent Malaysian leaders including Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim, Deputy Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Dr. Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, Economy Minister YB Rafizi Ramli, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Economy Datuk Hanifah Hajar Taib, and Chief Secretary of Malaysia Datuk Seri Shamsul Azri Abu Bakar.
During the event, Director of MTCO, Ir. Dr. Norshah Hafeez Shuaib took the stage to receive the MoA, symbolizing the company's commitment to advancing Malaysia's renewable energy landscape. The MoA marks a strategic partnership with VentureTECH, which has made a significant investment in MTCO due to its promising contributions to the country's sustainable energy goals.
The MoA signifies a critical step in aligning with PuTERA35’s goals of boosting the Bumiputera community’s involvement in the nation’s economic transformation, particularly in sectors that are crucial for future growth.
